TBI

On December 29, 2003, I was involved in a motor vehicle accident. I was riding my moped (fully licensed, and insured), which in NJ, can be driven on roads with speed limits under 50 MPH. I was wearing a full motorcycle helmet, which was also required by law. A woman was not paying attention, and hit me head on as she tried to turn onto a side street. I was thrown off my moped, into her windshield, and on top of her car.

Surprisingly, I did not break a single bone, or tear any muscle, joint, or ligament. Unfortunately, my brain and head took the brunt of the impact.

----- this is a general overview. I will eventually update this to go more in depth about the actual injury and experience.
